MotionAds
The dependable, embedded tech team behind a scaling ad business.
The story
MotionAds places advertising wraps on delivery drivers' boxes. What began as ad-hoc work by our founder Ross has grown into a three-year ongoing partnership where we act as their tech team: automations, internal systems, client-facing portals, data migrations and daily support. Being consistent and dependable is the whole point: Motion has a problem, we solve it.
Featured result
Proving to clients that thousands of drivers had done the work once ran on WhatsApp and took days to review. We automated the bulk of it, leaving a simple UI for spot-checking and approval. That turned an unscalable manual process into an automated one with human oversight. It's one of many major projects we've delivered with MotionAds, who have more than quadrupled their driver footprint on the systems we built.

A validated idea was held back in an unusable Lovable prototype. We workshopped the real intent, focused on the features that mattered, and built the product over a twelve-month engagement. We then helped hire an internal team and handed over cleanly, moving the business from build mode into sales mode.
Technical challenge
At its core, Marjin AI is a data problem. The biggest hurdle was clean, consistent data ETL: bringing in varied unstructured inputs, normalising them, and exposing that normalised layer in a secure, queryable form. After that came keeping LLM inference and querying affordable at scale.

MyReset Zone
A wellness soundscape app where sound quality is the product.
Direct clientThe story
The founder came to us with a Lovable app and a request to switch on subscriptions. We showed her the real path was a purpose-built product, took her through brand and design, and built it to a strong user base. It's our highest-traction mobile app to date.
Technical challenge
The system handles large media files and had to be completely white-labelable from a data perspective. Beyond the high-data challenges of infrastructure cost and user experience, the key was making the entire system data-driven, so multiple tenants share one architecture with no cross-tenant contamination.

Big Rider
A high-performance horse and team management platform.

Designed for top-tier riders and stables, this all-in-one app brings horse training, stable management and medical records together in one place. We took complicated, fragmented daily routines and turned them into a simple mobile app that makes life easier for the whole team.
Technical challenge
The biggest hurdle was making teamwork simple but secure. An owner might manage 20+ horses and a large team, so we built a system where owners control exactly who sees what: read/write permissions for each teammate, down to individual horse calendars, medical records and daily logs, all without making the app confusing to use.

Case 05 Southern Africa Full project build
iLanga Insurance Automations
AI document processing at scale, under strict regulation.
In partnership with iLanga Information SystemsThe story
We designed and built an internal automation system that iLanga now offers on to their own clients. It processes very large insurance documents, anywhere from ten to three hundred pages, inside a strict regulatory envelope.
Technical challenge
POPIA and data-residency rules meant we couldn't lean on built-in LLM OCR. We extract text first, then de-identify before anything sensitive moves downstream. To run safely at volume the system is event-based and distributed, with robust queues, retries and logging. The hardest problem was finding the right context inside documents larger than any single context window, and connecting it across windows.

Water-Testing Data Platform
Messy manual processes turned into structured data capture and self-service reporting.

An internal web app for a UK water-testing service whose clients include NHS sites. Readings lived in inconsistent spreadsheets, so reliable reporting was near impossible and reports were pieced together by hand.
What we built
We automated a messy real-world process: a low-friction way to capture readings consistently, then a consistent way to report on them. Clients now join by link to a multi-tenanted dashboard and see their own history at a glance, replacing ad-hoc reporting entirely.

Case 07 Southern Africa Full project build
Motor Insurance Panic App
Real-time roadside emergency response for insured drivers.
In partnership with iLanga Information SystemsThe story
Built for a Southern African insurer, mainly for vehicle cover. Insured users log in, validate their policy, and hit a panic button for help after an accident, a collision or a flat tyre.
How it works
Support staff get a push notification that someone is waiting, the app connects a call, and staff update the claim status and keep notes as it progresses. Users see their own history; support keeps a full record. A second mode lets users report road hazards such as dead animals on the road, so the insurer can dispatch a clean-up.

Construction cost management for quantity surveyors who've outgrown Excel.
Direct clientThe story
A subscription tool for Quantity Surveyors ready to move past spreadsheets, with export-ready reports and time-saving automation across the construction lifecycle.
Features & challenge
Two flagship features: Feasibility Studies, which estimate development cost, project post-completion revenue and generate bank-friendly reports; and Project Payment Summaries, which track monthly spend and contractor payments and export clean, category-based financial summaries. The key challenge was making every financial calculation accurate and complete. The product's credibility depends on whether its numbers can be trusted.

Where we prove our AI-driven process on ourselves, not on clients.
Internal productThe story
WarRoom is our own project management and development platform, tying project management to actual delivery. Projects run on milestones for visibility, sprints for implementation, and whiteboards and chatrooms for collaboration inside and outside the team.
Why it matters
Built in 2026 and MCP-native, every function is reachable through LLM connections for ad-hoc updates, reports and management. Its real value is as the place we build and validate fast-moving, AI-driven development processes on our own systems, so a client project is never the guinea pig. It keeps us at the cutting edge without experimenting on client work.
